Dick Justice


Dick Justice was a white American folk performer who played Guitar, he was largely influenced by african-american performers. He is most famous for the song Cocaine Blues. He was a contemporary of Frank Hutchison.


Richard "Dick" Justice was born in Logan County, WV. on 1906. He worked as a coal miner for most of his life, he died c. 1950. He recorded 16 songs for Brunswick, the first 10 recorded in 1929.
