Andrew and Jim Baxter were a father and son duo (Andrew Baxter was the father and Jim Baxter the son). They played with many black and white musicians including The Georgia Yellow Hammers.

They were from Calhoun, GA. The recorded several sides with and without the yellow hammers in Charlotte, NC during the 1920s
