Biography[]
Crockett Kelly Harrell was born on 1889 in Fieldale, VA. He was an exceptional singer, but he refused play any instruments, so he always had to hire other people to play with him. Around the end of the 1920s Victor tried to convince him to learn an instrument because it was becoming too expensive to hire extra musicians, he refused and never recorded again. He died in 1942 at the age of 52 from an asthma attack while working at a textile mill.
